any good free av software out there

i've been using inoculate it for a while like many here,and as you all know,no more updates on it!!!
i've uninstalled it and looking for a replacement,any suggestion on a good av replacemant

u cud try AVG or ViRobot

I'm using http://www.free-av.com/ and http://www.grisoft.com together at the same time. All seems to be working ok.

The first one boasts of having 50,000 known viruses in it's database.
AVG has been good to me for quite some time.

but I now prefer Avast.
