Cat 5 Cabling question

I getting ready to install a home network using Cat 5 cable.The RJ-45 wall jacks I bought say "Broadband Ready (up to Cat 3)". I guessing this these Cat 3 jacks will work with the Cat 5 cable. It just won't run at Fast Ethernet speeds. Is this correct?
