WinME: Sound card disables hibernate

Post by redxii1234 »

Plain and simple; when I install my sound card drivers and reboot, I lose the option to do a Hibernate.

Sound card is a Aureal au8810.
OS is Windows ME
MS6199VA motherboard
-I also use a:
--3COM PCI ADSL Modem
--nVidia Riva TNT2 M64 video card

Is there any way to keep Hibernate when my sound card is installed? Hacks? etc?

Thanks anyway. I will just have to do without until I can get a new sound card.

Do yopu mean Sleep Mode or Hibernate Mode?
(two different modes)
No one has any right to force data on you
and command you to believe it or else.
If it is not true for you, it isn't true.

Hibernate mode. A selection from Start > Shut Down.
