Every so often I run a RtCW server on my main box on my 768 SDSL, which is legal as it's sold as a business connection. ;)

I ran a FTP and Web Server off my RR connection for almost 2 months with no problems. Distributed 100's of gigs of information over that time. The only reason I stoped was because I moved. Never had a problem with it.

I usually run a web server and ftp off my Linux box with my DSL. Sometimes I'll use this to run a 8 person CS server for me and friends.
i'm going to become rich and famous after i invent a device that allows you to stab people in the face over the internet

I'll sometimes set up a hotline server which I assume is legal (and I won't listen to you if you say it isn't!) but that's it. I had a big one running for about 5 months but my hard rrive crashed and I never got it running again.
