Ok, so my P166MMX started beeping out an unknown (to me) POST code. I will describe it as 1 long and 3 mediums.
It's not the video card because if I pull that out I get 1 long and 3 shorts and these are a bit longer.
I've checked the memory and IDE connections, pulled out all the cards (there is only 2) and couldn't find the problem. I usually get another more known code.
It's an AwardBios.
What can it be?

all i can suggest is to check your mainboard manufacturers website for their error code. My Abit manual states this-
3 beeps=first 64k memory test failure. address line test failure
4 beeps=system timer is not counting properly
not sure what the system timer is exactly...but you might try reseating your RAM.

I did check out the ram, took it out, blow out any dust and stuff, put them back no prob...in fact when there was no memory I got an continuous beeping.
The real thing I don't understand is that it did this just after I pressed the RESET button to restart the system. It was working fine before I did so.

Problem, uhm, solved.....i guess
Ok, so it seems that for some reason the PC wanted to start whining about no screen cable plugged in, so it was nothing serious. sigh
But still I wonder why suddenly it started doing this, it never did that before. Now I just have to ignore it.
Thanks for helping out, good to know there's people that can help me out
