8M DOWNLOAD and 1m upload. I am paying 159.99$ every month. Free router and activation. Installation is only 199$ and you get a real tech not someone playing like one.

I own a business// this service is worth it. because it never goes down . And if it does go down they pay you for a full day even if it only goes down for a min. My speeds Also dont move up and down all over the board. It's is pretty consistent. And some people are paying like 50 $ for not even a 1m up or down . So this product should be well worth over 500$
That not bad for that kind of speed $159. Bellsouth wants about $800 for half that speed.I looked into it after I saw your post. I pay $39.95 for 2mb/s down384 up . but I can blow by there cap like it not there.I would pay that if i coud get it

I just signed up for the ameritech.net DSL upgrade.
I have had the 768/128 service for about 3 years. Fortuntely I was still locked in at 39.95. I have been inquriing about a 1.5/256 for home users for some time. All they had before was buisness for like 169 a month.
Well the lady said the finally have it for 59.95 for the 1.5/256. Oh and its only a 10 upgrade. Well I said I still at 39.95 . "Oh you were not informed of the price increase?" Nope
... But I still jumped at the 1.5/256.
They said takes 7 buisness days...We'll see
I know thats standard for most cable users 39/49 a month but seems they have been getting bogged down lately.
