loud as a mofo though...
I had to shut it down last night (sever weather -not taking chances)
I was shocked at the peace and quiet...
oh
Athlon 1.4 Gladiator w/Delta
2 80mm (one of which is loud as hell)
<edit> well I sleep about 6 feet or some from it..
you don't really notice how LOUD it is until you turn it off for a while..

Don't know, I keep it in the closet with the door shut so it's like it's in another room. I went to the home depot and bought one of those "desktop" grommets that you see to guide computer cables and drilled a hole in my wall and run the cables through it. One wall of the closet faces the outside of the house so even with the door closed it stays really cool in there

Mine's pretty quiet. The HDD is a Maxtor with liquid bearings so I don't have to hear that chugging noise that most HDDs make when accessing data.
The case is nice and sound tight so the four 80mm fans inside only make a very low, calm hum.
The loudest thing though is this damn keyboard. If you were sleeping in my computer room the keyboard would wake your arse up if I were on speedguide at the time.
