hi everyone,
i have been asked by my employer to create a small VB app that interacts closely with PowerPoint in order to log changes during a slide show presentation.
we work with something similar to distance learning and need to sync a "talking head" video stream taken during a live presentation to the powerpoint used during the presetation.
we have realized it would make our job much less tedious if we can capture changes as they happen during the presentation.
my only problem is that im a perl/C/C++/Java (no windows experience) programmer, ive never touched VB before. but due to time constraints (like we need it yesterday) im forced to use VB6, of which we had a copy lying around. I've figured out most of what i need to know but am having trouble interacting with the PowerPoint objects.
does anyone have a good online resource i could consult on this? has anyone done something like this before and wouldnt mind giving me some source to go from? im sure i could build it quite fast if i had a reference in front of me...
thanx for any help

Glad I could help. Actually I just googled for:
"visual basic" AND "powerpoint objects"
I know google lets you know that you don't have to use the AND operator as it's added automatically but old habits die hard eh. Anyways, as luck would have it that link is the very first match returned!
I was actually wondering how useful it would be to you since it's for office97 but I suppose any differences would be minor and easily fixed. -shrugs-
