Task manager oddity

Post by GrandFlash13 »

When I bring up my task manager I have an entry that says "Downloading Software" or "Resuming Download of Software". What the heck is that and how can I get rid of it? I have rebooted my computer many times and it is still there. I see nothing in the start up menu for it. I think it might have popped up when I was loading a website that used Flash and asked me to download it. I started to download it then I exited by accident. I have done numerous virus scans and it does not seem to hinder performance. I usually just close it out but I would like it to be closed out for good. Any ideas?

have you tried looking in your startup folder to see if there is something in there to make this prob app launch?
