i can't enter speedguide.net without using aol+lan connection

for some reason, when i use internet explorer 6 alone, i can't enter forums.speedguide.net or speedguide.net, but when i logon to aol with my lan connection(not dialup), im able to enter speedguide....whats up with that?

what happens when you try do you get an error msg?

I have had this problem before also, it has to do with Winsock being corrupted. Please visit this URL:

Start>Control Panel>Add/Remove Programs>Microsoft Internet Explorer 6>Add/Remove>Repair IE

hey kip, i think you guys did ban my ip address, because i am using my backup hard drive right now, and the result is still the same, i can't use ie6 to view speedguide.net, i still have to use aol..... but the weird thing is that i just got a new ip address on the 27th which was yesterday, and i don't remember visiting speedguide.net with this new ip address, well if i did, i don't remember doing anything bad, except logging in....the same thing is with hardocp.com
