Kaspersky anti virus

The new InnoculateIT virus scan...it has a different name now though

Hi Doug,
The new InnoculateIT PE's new name is E-Trust, but I am sure it's not a free one.
InnoculateIT PE was also withdrawn from the CAI site prior to the release of WinXP. It does not work in WinXP from what I have read.

Haven't tried Kaspersky. Have you? Any good?

AVG is undergoing some fairly stringent testing with XP at the moment. Hopefully the results will be in shortly. The only problem so far is the update frequency which is being addressed if the recent number of them is anything to go by.

Put your hand on a hot stove for a minute, and it seems like an hour. Sit with a pretty girl for an hour, and it seems like a minute. THAT'S relativity.

Use Norton 2002, it's compatible with XP, uses less system resources than previous versions and scans 30% faster than previous versions, saved me quite a few times.
