And the first game [that I know of] that support's ATI's TruForm (or "Trueform," as it's spelled in the game) out of the box.

Trueform is splendid, I got the Radeon 8500 2 weeks ago and I must say nice, especially with Trueform :D . And Brent the best way to bench test RTCW is to join a nice server and frag for a spell or 2 :D

Yes it's the Q3 engine.....but very rebuilt, pushed, and tweaked.

Half Life was just the Q2 engine too...but look at how much they changed it.

Brent, hang in through the first two levels.....the underground crypt levels suck and will make you want to drop the game....but stick through them....once you get to the outdoor levels, the rest of the game is incredible! Just incredible....what they did for the outdoor environments, the bot AI, etc.

Ex...the first above ground level, the rocket base....sneak up on the guard on the opposite side of the first building, watch him quietly. He stands there overlooking the little pond, lights a cigarette, smokes it for a bit, coughs, tosses it on the ground, grinds it into the ground with his foot. Little details like that really got me.

i gotta agree with the little details kickin @ss...like how they have conversations.........the AI is the best i have seen to date....it getts to be annoying on the harder levels....but good fun....i have been playin wolf like mad man..i have slowed myslef down cuz i dont wanna beat it 2 soon and have to go back to that homework thing...(shivvers)
