to all the mommy's out there

my 7 week old son has a rash on his face, part of his neck, and on his upper arm. what could this be caused by and how do i get rid of it?

it could be fron the detergent from washing his clothes... you cannot wash the babies clothes with regular detergent... to harsh

um clothes to tight? rubbing on him? did he lay on anything that may give him a allergic reaction?

I dunno.. call your doctor.

She asked for moms, but if dads are ok I'll throw in my 2 cents.

hey your not a mommy :p j/k

thanks for the suggestions. i buy him special soap for his clothes. made special for baby's. his p.j.'s were actually a little big on him. and he was just laying on my bed like always. i would call the doctor, but its a weekend and i cant. :( so i figured i'd ask you guys sense my mother-in-laws phone is busy and she's the one i turn to for advise.

well if you guys can think of anything else please let me know. tia.

Princess, my Godson has eczema...pronounced xzema...whatever....he has it and it sounds just like what you describe. He has special body soap that he has to use and a bunch of stuff but it's mainly a reaction to overly dry skin. If you want I'll ask the mommy what she was prescribed for him...
