How do you get a higher core voltage than 1.8 on my abit kt7a motherboard?

Just thought I'd give you a quick answer, although I'm sure a better one will come along. I believe you have to run a wire across a transitter. This jumps all the voltages, if I remember correctly.

I should be familiar with KT7A by now but because I've been shipped two dead ones, in a row, by a company that shall go unnamed I'm not so I can't help you out much.

Terrancelam has a KT7A but I don't think he's upped the voltage to OC yet. He still might know how though.

just to let you know, unless your trying to reach some insane clock speeds(i.e 1.7ghz with a 1.4ghz T-bird), you won't need to go much higher then 1.8v, which if you use your Via hardware monitor to check, might be higher then what it's set at. I know that in my area, I get about 0.02-3V above from what I set it at.

But in addition to this, if you really need it to go higher, I'll look for the mod. That's the only way to go above 1.8Vcore.

Yeah but I'm with terrance about why you would ever want to use that high of a voltage. That is unless you've got some serious cooling.
