Logout Button/Link
Is there any way to place a logout link under the person's name when they view the front page
So instead of:
Wecome Back, User_Name
view new posts
It would read
Wecome Back, User_Name
Log out User_Name
view new posts
As it is currently, I need to click reply to post, and then in the post box, click logout.

If your browser can't read unicode, you should probably switch!

In college, I spend my day drifting between labs, between classes, and an expedient logout buttin is handy.... that one at the bottom works fine though...Originally posted by m4a2t0t

CableDude,
It says the logout link is at the same place as the login link. Where is that?
It's not on this page. It's not on the forum page.
Is it just that hard to make changes to the site? If so, it's not a really big deal; it just seems like something that should be on every page. Certainly as important as Calendar, copyright, and contact us.

The logout link is on the main forum page in the lower right hand corner. Next to the "mark all forums read" link. You don't see the logout link when you are logged out.

Anyway, I've seen other forums (links escape me at the moment) that have a logout next to user cp, register, etc.
Hey guys,
Things are a bit hectic at the moment as the main page is being redesigned totally. This is way overdue and will give us much more flexability and functionality for news, reviews and such.
The problem with adding another button or tweaking the forums, so to speak, is that it has to be re done every time we update it...
Maybe when they have some of the last bugs in vB worked out, so we won't be as concerned with updates, and when we have the new design running on the main page, more attention can be given to annoyances such as a more convenient log out button.
Thanks for your patience!
Enjoy the boards!
Ken
