I have an old Biostar 440LX Motherboard. The board came from Quantex before they went under.
I know the board is a Biostar Board. In fact it it a M6TLC. The confusion is this.
On Biostar's web page it clearly states.
How to identify Motherboard model.
Check the left Conner of the monitor when system boot up.
-TVX0917B
-TVX - is the model of the board.
-0917 - is the date of BIOS; which stand for SEPTEMBER, 17.
-B - stands for BIOSTAR.
When this system boots I see TLC0306D
This tells me it is a Model TLC an M6TLC. The date of the bios is 3/06.
Now what does the "D" tell me? I have a sneaky feeling that Quantex had these board made for them by Biostar. Hence the "D".
What do you think about flashing the BIOS with the latest AWARD
Flash update Utility for the M6TLC from Biostar web site.
