Just curious...Cable, DSL, POTS (plain old telelphone system), or other?

hey EA i got DSL straight through Pac Bell...less middle men. i do have Earthlink still, but just have them on a basic account (old e-mail for buisness). i can access earthlink through PacBell any time.

just a thought for ya.

I tried to order Pac Bell DSL, but they jerked me around so now I use cable

Pac bell said i was in their area...... they come to install they say im out and call this number to confirm distence...... i call....... they say im avalible...... call later to make sure they say im not........ then after last time they say im avalible........ they come to my house....... then they say my lines are too old for dsl....... So i went to cable. what may have taken 2 months with Pac bell took about 1 week.

hey Cisco and Banzai....

i feel for ya. i was a lucky one. from first phone call to install was maybe a week, all worked like a charm. and i was out at the limit for distance !!

and it has run like a champ always. (well almost always. good enough for my liking)

my freinds all had problems of some sort even my neighbor ??? they kept telling him he couldn't get it, and i already had it up and running !! go figure.

Mines is about 1/3 of that speed and its about 34 a month , snake :D
