life

Post by crazyman »

"For a long time it had seemed to me that life was about to begin-real life. But there was always some obstacle in the way, something to be gotten through first, some unfinished business, time still to be served, or a debt to be paid. Then life would begin. At last it dawned on me that these obstacles were my life."

Life is a divided pool, one side has urine in it the other has water but you have the choice to jump into either one. Famous quote by EA...lol

Life is a big rollercoaster........nothing but peak's and valley's.
without the valley's you'd never know how high the peak's are.

i think Steve Martin said that in a movie once.

life is truly just a big game. it doesn't matter if you win or lose,
we all end up at the same ending.

it just matter's how you play the game.

life is like a box of chocolates you never know what your gonna get.
We have seen their kind before. They're the heirs of all the murderous ideologies of the 20th century. By sacrificing human life to serve their radical visions, by abandoning every value except the will to power, they follow in the path of fascism, Nazism and totalitarianism. And they will follow that path all the way to where it ends in history's unmarked grave of discarded lies.

Never figured anyone would recognize it. I find I can relate to a lot of his music. It's a bit dark, but so was my life for a good 10 years.

Youth is never wasted on the young

Post by terrancelam »

For it is our youth that we try to recapture for many of us. Just look at our culture, with our incessant Oil of Olay and aerobic programs. But then again, I'd have to say that discovering something for the first time is something that I'll take to my grave in my memories, such as what it's like to ride a bike for the first time, or to have had my first taste of vanilla ice cream. And like making my first friend and learning what that's about..Just the little things that all add up to make life.

As a youngster I took life for granted, but as I got older, I realized how valuable it truly is. I realize I wouldn't be the person I am today without the experiences of my past, just wish I could play da "record" again. I'd savour every moment.

Well, if ya like the person you are now, then ya shouldn't have any. I'll admit I've done a lot of stuff I regret, but I wouldn't be the person I am now if things didn't happen the way they did. It's only been within the past year that I can truly say I love myself, even though the damage has been done. For starters, I wouldn't have done crack and hurt so many people in the process. Would I do it the same way again, hell no, but I sure did learn a lot about life. Your core is beautiful EA, I can tell and I barely known you.

I think crazyman could relate to this.

life is what you make of it
Everybody is taking the Afghan war lightly, but in the meantime the realisation that a full-blown war is in progress creates all the uncertainties (and inevitable surprises) that wars always produce.
