Post by Matt615 »

I seem to be having a problem getting Quicktime to work. I just downloaded V5.02 and when I go to sites that use quicktime this is what I get.

that happens to me too.

at first, I just thought it was like loading the picture up, but nothing happens. so what I usually do then, is just save movie to my hard drive, and watch it that way.

sorry i couldn't help, hopefully that's an option for you though.

that happens for me in win98, and XP

Right click the link, then "save target as" I think.

I've had nothing but problems with Quicktime. My solution was to try an uninstall it. Even then the only way I could really get rid of it was to reformat.

I had that problem before as well!

I usually just do a "view source" on the page containing the QuickTime movie, then I use Getright or Download Accelerator Plus to download it to my hard drive.

In the source of the page, look for a references to a .mov file.

Hope this helps ya! :)

Yes I can do that, but that is kind of a pain each time I want to see a movie, but I will try that.

I would really like to find a way to get this fixed.
