Best free ISP? (is this in the right forum?)

Post by person123 »

would this thread be better off in the software forum? if so just move it or tell me to close it and I'll move it. for some reason I don't really consider this software forum material because it deals more with online than anything else, but maybe I'm wrong.

hey guys, in your opinion what is the best free ISP? I'm using Juno right now, and I am not happy with it, because every 15 minutes it kickes me offline. I tried to disable to feature, but unless you click "don't kick me offline" when the little pop up, pop's up, you will get kicked off. and since I use opera and not the juno browser I never see the pop up. Would Net-Zero kick me off me off? are there any other good alternatives?

just a thought... why not get one of the local isp's for like 10 bucks or so... then that'd save all the trouble..

well, I'm only going to be using it for 1 month, and I don't want to mess around with an isp, even though it is only 10$. also most 10$ a month isp's want you to sign a contract which oviously wouldn't be feasable for me.

Netzero sucks, it limits you to only 40 hours per month. Plus, IT SUCKS.

Juno already banned me, haha. They said i've been using up too much of their banwidth. Same thing happened to a few people i know.
