file and print sharing

greetings,
i have 2 computers on home network and would like to enable file and print sharing. i have no clue where to start. currently we are configured to simply share the internet connection via netgear rt311 router and netgear ds104 hub and all works fine. not sure what info you need but both machines run winME and comcast@home isp. could someone outline the steps to enable file and print sharing? thx a bunch.
