Cloudflare problem?

Post by Easto »

I'm getting a lot of Cloudflare problems. Websites are not coming up and I'm getting an error page what seems to be from Cloudflare. Also, trying to test and get on Newegg I got an error stating that Newegg has detected an unusual amount of traffic from my IP and will not allow me to access it. I guess I need to see of this passes.

I just saw a Cloudflare issue trying to read some news on my phone as well. There is definitely something going on with their services.

Their malicious IPs config file "grew beyond an expected size of entries," and caused crashes, heh. This is another recent single point of failure of a huge cloud provider within the last month.

I have a personal malicious IP ranges config file at the SG firewall, and rules for automatic additions, it's getting out of control at times. I've considered using Cloudflare services, considerable percentage of large sites use them.
