The old versions of vB (vB4) had a lifetime license option that we had, then the company got bought and moved to annual license structure, some type of cloud hosting, and the software changed a lot visually, the database changed, many plugins didn't work either. phpBB being a community software seemed like a more natural upgrade path than being locked to a proprietary software/licenses. The old vB version was one of the biggest hurdles in upgrading to a more modern version of OS/PHP/SQL.

All run some Linux Fedora Core version.
SG and the forums is the biggest site, running on the top server on that page. The second server in that list runs some websites and mail services I host for other businesses/people, and some proprietary technical indicators/stuff I play with related to the stock market, mainly python, php, sql.
Life is fine, my two daughters grew up, one of them just started in NYU, and I am currently up in NYC this week helping her get situated, will get back to FL on the weekend.
Sorry to hear about the ADHD. I personally feel like many of us have some mild "disorders" that weren't even labeled last century/millennia, heh. I know I have some OCD moments, even without a formal diagnosis.
