Goodbye to 45

Post by Easto »

All I can say is good riddance. I can't say that there was one thing I liked about the guy.

I'm not posting this to start any kind of debate. I just had to take a deep breath this morning and get it off my chest.

You're only 45?

Just kidding, but yeah. I am looking forward to less division and drama.

Let's just hope that the stock market doesn't drop like a rock and taxes rise like a balloon. Retirement depends on investments...

You have to have money to spend it or...

Nothing against our newly elected President, just hoping for the best...

Ken! I am driving down to Tampa for a day or two, and I have a very important political/sexist question. Brent is away and I think the forums would be safe with Easto and MadDoc at the helm... Maybe. Question is, do the girls at your neighborhood Hooters on Hillsborough wear N95 masks? I think important questions like that just beg for proper research, even if done outdoors per proper social distancing standards, just saying..

Easto and the MadDoc???????? Rather scary!!!!... We haven't heard of any recent injuries given by Mrs. Eas...er..."bicycle accidents"..., which does raise some "complete disclosure" questions... As far as the MadDoc,...he's been in the barn for weeks...

They wear the same masks that I do...used T-backs, of course... :p :D

I liked the 1st lady, one of the very few over the past 60 years that did not consider porn as an alternative occupation. Glad she didn't sell pillows!

Sorry about the multiple thread hijacks, lol. Here is a short recap: It started about the presidency change, then I saw Ken posting and tried to warn him I am going to Tampa for a couple of days, so we had a meet at Hooters. Easto held the fort, and MadDoc was in his basement fortunately ;)

That video seems pretty biased Mark.
From the polls I've seen Biden actually has 10%+ higher approval rating than Trump had at the beginning of his presidency, whatever that's worth. https://news.gallup.com/poll/329348/bid ... roval.aspx

Buh byeee DT
I was surprised that he even made it to president. It was funny to hear some of the stupid things speak about (Bleach for covid) lol. Unfortunately some of his misplaced words cost people their lives.

Biden will do much better but its not like he has a tough act to follow, rather a mess to clean up similar to when Obama had to spend ime mopping up GWBs poopies.

Unsure of Bidens diplomatic communication skills.

How great did America get again?

Racism seems pulled back the 1960

Americans are sick and fatter than ever before.

Just going to end it there

I was going to post a link to that thread, but the SG search results for "bullsh|t" were too numerous

sometimes you have to think outside the box to get inside the box ;).

You sure glue will hold that thing together that caused the fire when it got knocked over? It looked expensive. That's what the fireman said anyway

So far... so good. Philip hasn't noticed the smoke damage ($5.00 well spent). That said... off I go to see Mary and her little lambs.

Just looked up some stats.. US oil production has been going up steadily since 2008, from 8M barrels/day to 19M barrels/day. Our exports have also increased though, from 2 to 9M barrels/day. Imports went down from 12.9 to 9.1M b/d. Consumption went up slightly, 19.5 to 20.4M b/d. Even though net imports went down, we are just exporting it. Production didn't change at all throughout the George W's presidency, went up quite a bit during the Obama era (8.9 to 16M b/d) , and continued increasing during Trump's administration (16-19M b/d).

According to U.S. Air Forces Central we never stopped bombing other countries either, the public data is a year old but still interesting: https://www.afcent.af.mil/About/Airpower-Summaries/

In his election campaign in 2015-2016 president Trump pledged to eliminate the national debt in 8 years... Instead he added like $7.8 trillion to it in 4 years.. so it is all a part of the same saga.
