Wireless USB can't connecte to home SSID

Post by zillah »

Dear folk

Recently TP Link USB wireless TL-WN823N V2 lost its connection to home SSID,,,,I am using windows 10 64 bit

1-SSID not hidden as all iphone mobiles can see and connect to SSID
2-Router not far away from TP Link USB
3-TP link USB can see neighbor SSIDs, but not mine!!!
4-TP link can connect to my iphone hot spot
5-Reinstalled the driver again and restarted desktop couple of times

What else to be done ?

Thx

Change the channel of the Access point.. Is it transmitting in the 2.4GHz range?

Glad it worked out.. Changing the channel forces the adapter to reconnect to a "new" AP, which often does the trick.
Disclaimer: Please use caution when opening messages, my grasp on reality may have shaken loose during transmission (going on rusty memory circuits), even though my tin foil hat is regularly audited for potential supply chain tampering. I also eat whatever crayons are put in front of me.
