minir is under the weather

Post by blacklab »

Just wanted to let everyone know minir is in hospital. He is having a problem breathing and retaining fluid. He has been in for a few day and they are going to keep him in for a few more days and make sure it is not too serious. I will be talking to his mother and will update this as I get news.

Send a prayer for him

Terry

I just talked to Larry. They let him out of hospital this afternoon. He will be staying at his mothers for a few days so he won't be alone.

He sounded tired, but better than yesterday. I guess that can be expected after coming out of hospital.

It looks like he will be on oxygen for now as they do more tests.

It will probably be at least a week before he is back on the computer, but as I hear things I will keep you informed.

Good news! Get well soon Larry!
Every normal man must be tempted at times, to spit on his hands, hoist the black flag, and begin slitting throats.
I often wonder if the voices in my head ever get frustrated because I'm just too damn lazy to climb that clock tower.

Hi to All

First, Thanks for your concern & Well Wishes. Very much appreciated.

They used a lot of large words re my problems so i will slug on thru best i can. Have be having trouble breathing for last few weeks and i blamed it on allergies
Had an appointment made with my DR for the week following but when i went to shower i was horrified to see my scrotum 5 to 10 times its normal size, Called Hydrocele?

I had also put on 20lbs over a few days and could not get into my jeans, off to Emergency i went, full tilt Fri Afternoon 21st

They went on me full course with test after test. Made me as comfortable as possible and put me on oxygen. Next came the drugs to reduce the water held in my legs, scrotum etc. Each day brought a new thought and new Doctors. Cat Scans, heart, stomach you name it was zoomed in on.

Thankfully swelling started to come down and i lost 24lbs in a couple of days

Apparently i have enlarged Lymph nodes? & they wish to set up further tests for that.

They also suspect possible Sleep apnea which they are waiting for a test opportunity to study that as well.

I'm just too tired to get into it all, but am awaiting a couple of tests that may take a week or 2 to book and can get by on oxygen and drugs at home, thankfully.

Looks like Oxygen 24/7 is now part of my future.

Will pop in as i feel better with whatever info i gain.

---

Thanks Again to All :)

Thanks Fellas :)

Just awoke from a nap & the damned oxygen had been knocked off again. I do have trouble keeping it on while i sleep.

I have to try harder i guess.

Great to see you posting again Larry. I hope you get good news quickly, and off the oxygen eventually. Don't forget the healing power of that great music collection you have ;)
