Yeap. Remember them all. Why do we always seem to want the old times back? Ever since you posted about the Led Zep O2 concert, I had to buy it and listen to the same things I always have listened to. My wife thinks I've lost my mind. Maybe I have, but I like it there.

Ahhh....brembo with some of his oddball stories spoken in some hick lingo..
Immy with something totally wacked out...
Brent with his "i have a crooked penis" discoveries or something weird
JCOS reporting in from a new location around the US every week....spammin' it up!
Noevo
Prey
MadDoc was around much more...always had that animal spin
Meggie...she got married.
I got married again too...try not to spend as much time online when I'm home.

Barely started facebooking again a few weeks ago after taking a year off of FB..I just don't enjoy being sucked into the computer as much when I get home.

The old days, yes.

Although the site was more active then, so much of it was dumb ass bravado (Prey) and straight stupid (Brent...how many times can you post about your 500 GB porn collection or smelling your own farts, or "I love gay porn but homoexuality is a sin" before it gets old?)

I do miss brembo, hope he's doing well.

New crowd is posting some good content, Minir and DHD are back, what more could you ask for?

What new crowd? Last post on the first page of General Discussion is from the 9th. Back in the old days you would only have current and 1 day old posts on the first page.

Might be fun to see both Prey and Brent back here... No longer wanting to and not being a mod means I can shelve my diplomacy skills. :D
The tools of conquest do not necessarily come with bombs and explosions and fallout. There are weapons that are simply thoughts, attitudes, and prejudices to be found only in the minds of men. For the record, prejudices can kill and suspicion can destroy and a thoughtless, frightened search for a scapegoat has a fallout all of its own for the children and the children yet unborn and the pity of it is that these things cannot be confined to the Twilight Zone.

Can't believe this summer will be 13 years on SG. Was still in the Corps and could hump 12 miles with a 60lb pack. Could probably still do it although it would require taking a week's vacation and moaning to the Wife about being sore as hell.

You're wife get a good job in Texas? cuz it was always apparent that you were allergic to work. Can't imagine that changing much.

LMAO, my wife doesn't work. My company relocated me to our Corp HQ's in Houston. Only moved a few weeks ago and I'm loving it though the culture shock is massive. The wife and kids are happy though, so I think we're here for life.

Oh, and I've been with the same company for the last 5 years.....no more contract work for me! So no, I'm not allergic to work LOL Though that remark does have some racial implications. Are you saying that because I'm Hispanic Romney hates me and i'm allergic to work? I'm reporting this to a mod......Racist! :-p

And Texas pizza sucks. Coworker told me about this place that's supposedly as close to NY pizza as you can get around Downtown Houston. Went for lunch and it wasn't even close. Had to order the wings which weren't so bad to make up for the bad pizza LOL There is another place that won Best Pizza in Houston last year that I may try out soon lol

At one point I mocked up a new look for SG to try and get some interest in a more modern site, but then I decided that wouldn't change much and just waste Philip's time.

Thats a pretty outdated look too, not a big enough change to be modern.

Dumped Facebook quite a while ago. Got sick of every friend update being about Jaeden or Braden or Kaedyn or Tucker or Tyler or whatever they named their kid. Having to back in and set up my privacy settings every time they made a slight change helped the decision as well.

Some fourms have held up well. But along with that, people arent messing around with TCP/IP settings as much anymore either which hurts SG.

Congratulations on the new critter and the job move. Still doing networking?

Everything's about the same here. Same job, for good and bad. Lost my mother several months ago, quite the life-changer there.
Trying to make a few changes, hopefully for the better :thumb:

Sorry to hear about your mom, that's got to be quite the life changer for sure!:-(

I'm working in IT Security now for a power company. I actually prefer it over network/server support and the money is a lot better LOL

You worked at a pet store was it? I think that's the last place I remember you working. Can you get me a discount on some Chicken Soup for the Dog Lovers Soul? That ish is $$$$ LOL
