I'm working on a new build and I'm not very computer literate, just brave, lol. From a build I accidentally got right about ten years ago, I learned the right mobo/cpu/ram/vid combination can create an exceptionally well performing machine. I am working within a budget of about $500 for the mobo/cpu/ram/vid but the cheaper, the better, or if somethign exceptional costs a little more, I can do that. I need three of these for work related use. The work is CAD files, PDF's, drawings for construction related work. We build high schools, elementary schools, churches, etc.. and these machines need to be capable of 3D and multiple layer CAD design builds. Here's what I have so far:

Mobo/cpu/ram/vid suggestions
for that kinda build, i would forgo the graphics card and get another 8GB of ram and maybe go with a 3770 for hyperthreading, if you are not overclocking, then get a non-K processor to save some money

Mark, thanks for the response. I don't want to say price is no object, because I don't want to pay for things I won't use.. but what I'm going for is a system that can handle multi-tasking, cad's, take-off programs. We run multiple monitors, one monitor has the program on it, then a big screen (47"+) with the drawings on it. What I'm running in to with $600-$700 store bought machines is they tend to run choppy and sometimes crash when we're in the middle of CAD take-offs. I say CAD, but it's really a different program, CAD is just the closest comparable program. I'd like to get rid of as much of the choppiness as possible and definitely the crashing. I thought a graphics card would help free up some system resources to get rid of choppiness and crashing, but I definitely see the advantage of going to 16gb ram vs 8. The reason for the 3570k chip was the 3570k has the intel 4000 graphics vs the 2500 graphics on the 3570. I have no idea if that would make any difference when using a graphics card, but it sounds better, lol.
What other suggestions, if any, would you have for the uses I'm describing? Consider 16gb ram done, but if the i5 3570 is over or under kill, let me know your opinion. Also, I really have no idea what advantages a mobo can offer.
