It's my main browser on all my rigs.
IE 9 has tightened up a lot security wise..it's even enjoyed some months with less security issues than Firefox. But Chrome has the sandbox feature...it's very secure.
Very fast, reliable plug-ins, ad-block can be installed...rock solid, fast.
IE 9 got good...very good. But I've been in a love affair with Chrome for a while now...(it far surpassed Firefox and Opera)...so I'm stickin with it.

By ALL means, to me it's by FAR the best browser out there, just my opinion. I would also use the extensions Ad Block Plus (beta) and WOT. For Ad Block Plus use Fanboys list, Fanboys Tracking List and Malware Domains lists, the latter two filter lists can be found here. Without question Chrome is the safest and fastest browser available.

Uninstall then delete it's directory then try to reinstall.

Yep, it's listed under C:\Users\Your Username\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome delete the entire folder then reinstall Chrome. You will lose all your Chrome preferences, extensions etc. so sync it with Google first.
