Things are well here Suzie, Thanks.

Having a long hot summer here with temps in the 30C range and little rain to speak of. Not my kind of weather but thankfully my A/C is working great.

Slow up Kiddo & think of You more often as your a short time here and a long time gone. Enjoy! while you can. :)

Moody Blues: In Search of the Lost Chord :thumb:

Right up their as one of their best efforts. Very atmospheric with with flutes, sitar, tablas, and cellos all mixed in. Nicely done.

Its also 42 minutes long which i feel is ample for most CD's. Gets the message across without becoming an endurance test as some do.

His voice is a great stress reliever for me. I just sink into the music and relax.

Stellar list of musicians joining him here. :)

Buddy Holly & The Crickets: The "Chirping Crickets" :)

With bonus tracks it pretty much covers the essential songs by the group. He sure did a lot in a very short career. A Fave, then & now.

James Taylor: Flag :thumb:

Mixed reviews on this release, however i like it very much.

Peter Frampton: Wind of Change & Frampton's Camel

2 CD Set with perhaps Wind of Change slightly less powerful than his Frampton's Camel, though both excellent imho. Good listening. :rockin:

Toy Matinee: Toy Matinee

The one & only CD by the group featuring Patrick Leonard in collaboration with singer/lyricist Kevin Gilbert. It has been out of circulation until lately & i bought the reissue. Its quite a ride. Progessive rock.

Paul Simon: So Beautiful or So What

I guess i'm too old to appreciate this effort. To me it is a once played piece of crap. It is highly reviewed but i fail to see its merits. Not recommended!

Finally able to plug my stereo back in after a week of storms with attendant lightening. First listen is

State Cows: State Cows

No denying the Steely Dan influence here it jumps right out at you, but they do go in their own direction with excellent musicians. Nicely done CD
