Odd little creature

Wifey found this guy on the patio table and she kept knocking it over thinking it was a stick....guess she was wrong.

Looks like a worm of some kind in a cocoon, if you look closely you can see a web fiber that was sticking to my finger.

that's pretty cool,standing upright must be it's defensive mode to look like a little plant.

it always amazes me on how often ya see some weird kinda bug, i guess there are so many different kinds that we never see them all.
