Outlook question

Post by Roody »

Is it possible in 2007 or 2010 to setup a rule to where once you have read a particular email Outlook automatically moves a specific email from your inbox to an assigned folder.

For example. Let's say YoSC sends me an email. That email would reside in my Inbox until I have read his email and then automatically once the email is closed it would move that email to a folder I called YoSC. Is this possible to do or is it all manual to do such a thing?

Outlook rules are applied to Incoming messages and Sent messages ONLY.
Create a folder called YoSC and create a rule to move messages From so & so to that folder.
No one has any right to force data on you
and command you to believe it or else.
If it is not true for you, it isn't true.
