Some optimizations do not "take"

Post by Pfipps »

I am running Vista SP2 32 bit. I run the optimal settings for my connection.
However, after I restart, 3 settings are still blank, and they are the Direct Cache Access, Net DMA, and Windows scaling heuristics.

Anyone else have this problem? I made sure to run the program as administrator.

I checked the actual registry entries, since only the disabling of the auto tuning heuristics can be done via netsh under Vista, and they are all in fact set. But the three settings I mentioned do not appear in TCP Optimizer itself.
