I never saw a ball chucker before.....looks to work on the same principle as a primitive hunting tool....an atl-atl.
The person in the pic must not like to touch anything wet with dog drool...noting the gloves.

Good call. It's the exact same principle as an atlatl. By extending the throwing radius it increases velocity. We sell a lot of them (and they work great for picking apples )
A bit odd about the gloves in that you can also use the Chuckit to pick the ball up, so your hand never touches the ball regardless.
