Maybe the Tcp Optimizer could be on this list? What do you think Philip? :thumb:

:thumb: awesome , will have to keep this in mind, does it download them all into one large installer, That would make my life a bit easier

::edit:: downloads a small installer then downloads apps when ran, still good but would like to have them for offline install, maybe i can save the files and run it from a directory

Good idea but that was a deal breaker for me... I don't need a 3rd party pc of software to help me download something.

It's a good time saver of a little app, downloads the latest version of <whatever you check>...and it automatically disables the "me-too" ad-ons you get with most things these days.

Makes things a heck of a lot easier when your building PCs, deploying PCs (especially multiples), or simply tuning up/updating PCs.

One reason why I don't want to try it is because most of the freeware apps out there, like the wonderful CCleaner, wants to install junk like the yahoo.com toolbar in your browser, etc. I don't know if this still gives you control to customize each app independently.

Oh yeah...allmyapps does the same thing but it's a bit more extensive in it's app catalog.

And right up on top of its website, one of the features "Ninite installs software fast with default settings and
says "no" to browser toolbars and other junk. "

Many of these apps have a "portable" version that isn't an option for download using this. I would rather download and use those portable versions on a USB key for ease not to mention save on unneeded apps installed on a slim machine.

Thanks Man, that looks really good! I just bought a new computer for my wife, and that link is going to come in handy. Seems like a time saver.

If you want all of us to email the admins over there to get the Tcp Optimizer added, just give us all the word. ;)
