Best video card for my use

Post by RoundEye »

I have a Core Duo processor running 64 bit XP and four gigs of ram. I’m looking for a video card I can game with and drive my TV through HDMI. I have a BLU-Ray player already I just need a video card that’s HD ready.
I like Sapphire brand and I’d like to stick with ATI but that’s not necessary.

The general consensus is the 5770 being the best bang for the buck.

The 5830 would be the next step up from there as I'm not sure what your budget for this will be.

What's your budget, and what/which games do you play?
5770 is pretty much the best bang for the buck card. :thumb:
