watching streaming video is one of the worse things to do since broadcast traffic and creates a broadcast storm quit doing both at the same time you will be arlight

nothing, everything is good

like mccofee sayed "dont do it both (playing online + watching u tube) @ same time"
will caused traffic = high ping!!

or u can buy 10Mbps connection

There is another thing you can try either using quailty of service ,or a program called net limiter both are free if i'm not mistaken. you could use either or to limit the amount of traffic you and bother uses that way it won't bog so much.

A hardware soluation would be is getting a rotuer that supports qos and amybe a switch the switch would put your bother on another network plus it would help with network collasions. There could be a few routers that may have some other types fuctions they could do the same as the switch.

Either or use a router to hadle qos and traffic shapping or just use xp/vista/7 to handle it or net limiter or use a little of both your call.

i see.. actually i hav 2 pc connectd to 1 intrnet connection, is there a program i can use to set its limit speed to 1 computer? lyk the pc can only get a limit speed of 1mb insted 2mb

there is qos that could traffic shape and be useful built into xp/vista/7 and the servers another program is called net limiter.

net limiter might be easier to setup though if you sre newer but if you want to use a free way qos can do it though but may require some more steps though.

TCP settings are now correct.

Point to note is that your connection is through a proxy. Do not know if this proxy belongs to your ISP.

Go to Internet Options -> connection

and make sure your browser is not connected through any proxy.

Then your ISP is using a web proxy to cache frequent websites of its members to speed up page downloads. No effect on your connection speed.

The patch for Vista/Win 7 should cover most of the tweaks. Run it twice, first with y and then with q
