Measured 9 inches a few mins ago.... instead of the broom this go around I had to break out the shovel. Poorin down still.... at least snow this heavy till tomorrow noon time and won't stop till tomorrow at 6pm!!
I would much rather it hammer the area once a year than spread out a little 3-4 inch drop every other week..gives the DOT a poor excuse to drop a ton of salt and chemicals on the roads which often cause more problems than they try to prevent. Its often best if they don't plow the roads too since you can drive on it much better than packed pushed snow on a road that is going to get slick...at least with a powder snow you can drive on it.
Ok I've got 17inches here and still falling like crazy!! here are some pictures!
These two are of my trailer..one from last night and one from this morning as you can see.... its DEEP! My Dad lives near a golf course and its 4 ft drifts there.
still snowing... 20inches now. Major interstate nearby pretty much nothing moving.... over 500-800 stranded people on it. Major snow event around here that's for sure!

Light flurries started around 6pm last night, but very light, didn't start visible accumulation til after 9pm. Woke up to probably just 8-10 inches this morning, certainly not the 10-14 they were trying to alarm about.

Eh guess I gotta add a few more inches now that daylight is hitting and I can see some areas better, some areas not affected by snow drifts, looks more like a solid foot that's hit, and it still snowing.

Where I use to live a few hours to your "right" They got 12 to 16 inches of heavy wet snow.. and blizzard conditions. My parents just came back to the area yesterday morning.. and my Father got his snow blower all prepped up. This morning I bet he's happy he did that.

4-5 foot drifts around here after last night... solid 22 inches total. Dropped to 18degree's last night..... going to be fun moving some of this stuff today. Can't wait till this afternoon though, we going to have a massive sleeding party with 4 wheelers and bon fire... lots of beer!!

Nothing wet here...it's mid 20's and fluffy light. The little one wants to go build a giant snowman....having a hard time telling her it's not good packing snow.
