Software to determine if I'm safe ??

Post by Easto »

Is there any software package/program that I can install where I can see if anyone is trying to capture my wireless service from nearby houses?

No, just view the DHCP clients table in the router. But if a neighbor uses a static ip then it won't be listed. No wifi is secure.
No one has any right to force data on you
and command you to believe it or else.
If it is not true for you, it isn't true.

I would try Air Snare: http://home.comcast.net/~jay.deboer/airsnare/

Even though MAC addresses can be spoofed, this might be useful too you.
