Bought me a netbook this week...

I've been wanting to get one for awhile that I can move about the house with for just surfing, offloading pictures from the camera, and some light gaming...this one seems to fit the bill pretty nicely. It's got a pretty good sized hard drive - 250 gb in size. It streams netflix without any issues, and does a good job playing a number of older games that I have (ie Diablo 2, Simcity 3000, Age of Empires)...

I also like the fact that the battery life is about 7-8 hours...

Oh you guys

Actually, my younger daughter's wanting to get a pink Dell Mini for Christmas, so I may be buying another netbook in the next month or so.

As far as performance, it's not bad. It does everything that I want it to do. It has it's limitations, but that's to be expected of a computer this size. All in all, I'm happy with it.

He’d look so cute toting his pink lappy around. Get him some big fuzzy slippers and he would be big-time.

Well ………….. maybe a Hello Kitty lunchbox too.

Yeah the little Atom zips along fairly well, I had gotten the wifey a Dell Mini 9 last spring..sold it cuz was too small for her. But the Atom combined with the SSD drive, it zipped along pretty well.
