Looks like everyone is still here!

Post by EvilAngel »

Now that is impressive. After years "away" from society I come back to see a vast majority of the same members still active on the board. SG was always a very tight, close knitt family with lots of love. :thumb:

Hello everyone! I have been through some of the toughest times of my life in the past two -3 years. I look at it more as being refined and pruned to have the ability to grow and flourish with my maker.

Family is good. Still at the same house. While I was "away" my 2 year old drowned. Wife found my son face down in pool and quickly removed him and administered CPR with the aid of 911. He survived and remained in the hospital for 5 days on life support. He was unable to breath on his own even though all tests reveiled perfect health. On the 5th day (which was my wifes 40th birthay) my boy sat up in his bed and said "Hi mommy". No brain damage and still the same old abundantly happy Jonnathan. Thank God!

I am truly blessed and this definately shows me how precious my time with family is. Without getting into too much detail, I had 4 different agencies come to my house and take me to an extremly violent world lack of common sense and void of individuality. Though, that is where I found myself. Fear based politics and low self esteem ran rampant and without direction. Again, that is the exact place where I found which path I wanted to take.

I have been home for almost three weeks and I still find myself fighting the developed mindset aquired while away. Its a lifestyle reintegration period and I am aware I must acknowledge the process must be done in spoonfuls.

With 30 years of ill manored behavior under my belt the road to a more abundant existance rides the fine line of moderation and perseverence. I have always been an extremist.

I enjoy my family and friends now much more than ever. My tools are Love , Acceptance and Understanding. God is love.

Thats wasnt so brief was it? LOL

Well, hello SG family. Nice seeing you all here again!

Missed you all.

Good to hear from your John...saw you logged in a while ago and was surprised.

Have been hoping things were going best as they can for you, every now and then I'd yack with your bro.

Close the door behind you..take what you learned, and focus on what's down the road.

Wow! Welcome home stranger! I have often thought about you and where, and how you are today. You have been missed!!

Everything in me still believes....that nothing you have ever gone through or will go though in life...can't be turned around to give someone else a hand who might be struggling with the same issues. No-one is better qualified to help...than someone who has been there. :)

Change can be difficult...but a magnificent journey as well!

I'll tell Sam you said hi.

The door is closed. Good thing there is a window on it and I can still see whats in store for me if I should ever happen to choose that lifestyle again... My past is the most valuable asset I have going for me. I can keep focused on my goals if I embrace my past and use it for my arsenal to avoid those same pitfalls. :rtfm:

Nice to see you still here :D

Crazy? Understatement.....5 one on one fights (own race) 5 - 350 man riots...whites outnmbered 10-1....talk about "crazy!" All those years of ju-jitsu served me well. I never thought I could beat up 4 guys at once...but proved otherwise. Im still in shock and tramatized by them. Daily battle. The events roll over and over in my head almost on a daily basis. Intense, scary and outright unbelievable.

I'll tell sam...and thank you.

Jonny is such a precious boy. He has so much character and pizazz he lights up any room he walks in and everyone smiles. He even does impressions....at 2? LOL...he's a clown! ;)

Welcome back man!

I’m glad you used your “away” time to learn how to be a more civil human being, even though you were surrounded by the dregs of society. Man that takes balls of titanium. Let us pray to God that you stay on that road to recovery. Bang those titanium balls together and shoot sparks out of your ass, there’s no U-turns on this road.

That first post back was an emotional roller-coaster. At first I’m glad you’re back, then I’m bummed out because I thought your kid died, then I’m over-joyed he survived intact. Thanks for the ride you retard, my heart was all over the place.

I know what it’s like to live a new life because of either health or legal reasons. To look at something and think “it’s best I not do that”. Even though it’s a different battle, it’s still the same in many ways. While you were away I found out that I haveMS. Brandon (mountainman) even done a charity bicycle ride to help support research for it. You can read about it HERE in the Archives.

It’s weird how my mind works or doesn’t work now. I can’t recall what I ate for dinner last night but I can remember that charity run that mountainman did. Oh well…….

People had always said that I wasn’t right in the head before I had MS, now that it has technically caused brain damage at least I have a viable excuse. :D

It would be nice if you could convince Spammy to come back also. Then it would really be like the old times if we had both of the Biggs Brothers in here.

I’m happy to see that both you and your son are doing better. :)
