Haha, well if you look back at his past broadway experience/pictures, you'll see that he's pretty much always been "full out." Just that he toned down for AI (if he had toned down even further to a fully "acceptable" image there's no doubt in mind that he would have won) and is now reverting back to his more true self.

Perhaps in some aspects of his life, but I don't think vocally.
Adam was pretty good, figured he'd make it towards the end of AI. I had Danny pegged t win it. But after a while most of his performances focused on his one strong point..which got old after hearing it each and every week..that one long blaring semi David Lee Roth yell of his. Gotta go more than that buddy.
Although he had one song towards the end of the series which was very soft sung...and pretty good. Can't remember which it was.
