The office is setup pretty simple:
No active directory. Simple workgroup with Win2k3 standard server running database applications like QuickBooks enterprise etc,
13 workstations (Mix of XP and vista)
NOTE: The customer is not interested in outsourcing payroll.
The following are some of the capabilities the customer is interested in:
- Each employee will have an online login profile to access personal and company information.
- A new applicant will be able to fill out an online job application form – including submitting a digital passport type picture.
- Automatic email notification to employees when payroll is processed.
- The ability for the employee to log into the company website (which would have to be rebuilt) to access past paystubs for viewing /reprints etc.
