Gotten some for some really silly reasons at times. They always revolve around a debate where people disagree with each other, yet one side who is equally abrasive decides they can't disagree without negative rep. I do my best to stay away from giving negative rep. Honestly, can't recall that I have ever given any, but it's possible I did a ways back. Certainly am not aware of doing it any since I have been a Mod.

in an ideal world, i think positive/negative rep would be highly relevant and useful.

unfortunately i dont see it as being so. nothing wrong with positive rep. good way to have some fun and pat others on the back. negative rep, except when its between friends in jest, tends to be nothing more than a tool used to grief.

kinda superfluous, imo.

The positive portions are very nice for appreciation of something. I think we could have done well without the negative vote...life tosses enough of them as it is...imo. :)

Sure. Easy for you to say with +5,000 positive reputation points. What about the farm animals? Lets take a sheep for example. That guy has got -999,999 reputation points for absolutely no reason what-so-ever. Loving, carefree, compassionate, giving and honest.

Let that little sheep speak to the injustice of reputation points.

I have a hot tub full of flea dip. Seating for 8. Bring alfalfa. I'll bring the wine.

I bumped this up to help someone answer the reputation question. Now should I give him a green rep for asking and trying to learn or a red one for not using the search feature?

Also, can someone tell me how many licks it takes to get to the center of a charm’s blow pop?
