Hopefully, they will not find any blockages. I'll keep her in my prayers.

Done. Tell her not to worry... and I just had a quad by-pass myself 3/5. Uncomfortable for a few days, but it's all what you make of it IMO. How old is she? That's a big factor in recovery too, not to make light of it.

If she has any questions what to expect, drop me a PM.

A heart cath is not too bad. Usually you are awake to watch it. You had a quad by pass? Wow...Good to see you here! :thumb:

My bad for reading too quickly this morning. Assumed he meant CABG. But still, cath nothing to sneeze at. But isn't the technology awesome?

Prayers still to your wife Shinobi- let everyone know.

I've had many heart caths done. May I ask what it is that they are looking for? Prayers nonetheless, but the cath isn't a big deal on it's own, it's what they find after that might be.

By the way, I'm a 2 time Open heart surgery patient and ruptured aortic aneursym survivor, so if something heart related comes up, contact me. ;)

Cool,

I was thinking that if something tragic happened somebody would be kicking themselves in the ass for dogging him for an update.

Apparently all arteries are clean and clear. He didn't elaborate on what they were looking for.

Being a 2 time Open heart surgery patient, doing a cath usually means they are looking at the heart and taking pressure readings of the flow through the valves and looking at the valves themselves.

Glad to hear everything is ok Shin....

I got to this thread too late....been off a while.
The tools of conquest do not necessarily come with bombs and explosions and fallout. There are weapons that are simply thoughts, attitudes, and prejudices to be found only in the minds of men. For the record, prejudices can kill and suspicion can destroy and a thoughtless, frightened search for a scapegoat has a fallout all of its own for the children and the children yet unborn and the pity of it is that these things cannot be confined to the Twilight Zone.

Sorry.. after the surgery.. I was under the weather myself with a wicked cold.

My wife is doing fine.. she got thru ok. Preliminarily outlook looks good.. seems normal from what she was told. She's going back today to the doctor who performed the operation, for a follow up. And I'm praying that is good. Couple things to note, that this hospital is one of the most "nicest" looking ones that I have ever seen, marble floors ECT. Definitely privately run. The staff was very attentive, top notch I have to say. :thumb:

Thanks for all of the well wishes. Sorry for the lag in response.. but between this and some other things.. been really busy.
