I don't know why but I have the same problem. IE 5.0 on my desktop is crashing everytime I open http://www.speedguide.net but when I open the forum directly it does not. The problem is with the main page.

I do not have the same problem with my laptop. I reinstalled IE 5.0 but still the same.

I'm surprised that someone else had the same problem.

Bandit, when did your IE5 start crashing on the main page ? I haven't updated it for at least 2 weeks, last time I just added a jscript for pre-loading images on the grey menu bar, however the same one is in the header of these forums...

Help! I just installed my software into my new computer, and this is the only site that makes my ie 5.0 freeze up when I try to open it. What did you guys do to fix it. Oh yea, it works in aol just fine, that how I got here. But I don't want to have to use aol all the time!

I'll look into it. I use IE version 5.00.2919.6307 and it loads fine on my end... If you tell me what versions of IE cause problems with the main page it might be easier to track down...
