Editing music

Post by Roody »

I have a friend who I work with who went into the recording studio and cut a CD. I am helping her build her new website and we want to be able to put 30 second clips of each song on her site for people to access. Does anyone know what would be the best software that would allow me to edit the songs into a 30 second format with the ability to fade the clips out?

Free is obviously the preferred route if that is possible.

Thx

For free, it's the best available. It does have a learning curve like anything else.

I use FlexiMusic Wave Editor for editing music files. This program lets you make and edit voice, music and other audio recordings. When editing audio files you can cut, copy and paste parts of recordings and if required, add effects like echo, amplification and noise reduction.
