Eh... I'm not thrilled about it just thinking of the 2, but if its kept in the current dark tone, and they get into it then maybe.

Shia LaBeouf still has that Boy Meets World act going.

I think Shia has done well thus far... his Indiana jones part I didn't care for much.. but I really think he should stick to Transformers and not be involved with Batman but from what it sounds thats exactly whats going to happen.

Why do they insist on bring back gay-a$$ Robin!?!?!

I heard that Christian Bale doesn't want to do more Batman and run the risk of being typed cast.

if Bale doesn't continue to do it the attempt of restarting the storylines will fail.. just as Pirates will fail without Depp or even Keira Knightley.

I think the Robin thing is b.s. - I read somewhere that Bale said if they ever introduced Robin to the series he was done.

Makes sense - the comics only added Robin to lighten the tone and make Batman more kid - friendly.
imho Batman does not need Robin.

Kinda sorta....in Frank Miller's version of Gotham Robin was a deeply flawed character that had demons of his/her own. The fact that the Joker eventually offs Robin in various arcs is pretty non-kid friendly I think.

I gave Miss Manners a Dirty Sanchez, and she LIKED it.

 Forgot all about that :thumb:

Be kinda cool if they drew off the Miller story where Bats beats the crap out of Superman :D

Eddie Murphy?? That will kill the franchise  . Let Jim Carrey do it again, he did a great job.

Jim Carey took it way into a cartoony level, if they want to stick to the darker feel he would be over the top

I agree about the Eddie Murphy not exactly working but I wouldn't know who to toss into this spot. But since the last one was rather dark I would think they might lighten this one up...

That would be a dumb move. They should ride the success of the style they have with The Dark Knight.

My Riddler picks:

Kevin Spacey - perfect choice for intellectual games but might be too old in relation to Bale

Elijah Wood - Can be creepy (Sin City)

Josh Hartnett - can act very well in dramatic roles (Black Hawk Down)

Philip Seymour Hoffman - could be great as Riddler but maybe better as Penguin

Sid Haig - would be dark, real dark lol. But again, could be way too old for the role.

I would LOVE to see Sid Haig get the role but I think that if Hoffman was offered it or wanted it, it would be his.

Now if Nolan goes with English actors, Clive Owen.

If Nolan wants to really mess with people....I'd go with a female....my pick, Ellen Page.

If he wants an unknown, Ben Foster.

I agree with leaving Eddie Murphey and Jim Carrey out.

Batman does not need to be "lightened up". That's what killed the franchise the last time.

Apparently Bale has agreed to do 3 movies and NOT to have a Robin character in this series.

Bale:"If Robin crops up in one of the new Batman films, I'll be chaining myself up somewhere and refusing to go to work."

how so? You see movie trailers with the actors in it all the time before other movies.. discussing would be and possible actors in a movie that hasn't even began production isn't in no way a spoiler...but I see where your going with it.
