Please pay close attention to the reviews. I purchased some of the Ballistix about 4 months ago, 2x 2GB (2x1GB) sets, lasted all of 3 months. After several crashes, and several refusals to boot, I ran Memtest from a boot CD. Over 500,000 errors in the first 30 minutes, over 3.5 million within 7 hours.

I did some checking and found that many people had problems with a particular batch of the Ballistix memory around that time. This could be what Newegg has left over that they are clearing out.

Took two attempts to get an RMA from Crucial over a weeks time. The replacement memory seems to be running fine for now.
