Making a left turn and a rent a cop in my neighborhood tried to pass me and slams into my driver side, my head hits the side window and I went to the ER.

A bit of the roof is buckled the car is totaled :(

Oh man that sucks. Glad you’re OK though.

My friends and I have given the rent-a-cops absolute hell way back in time though. :D

What was he doing trying to pass you as you made a left hand turn?

Glad you're ok.

Better get a really good lawyer. Actually, depending on how their state laws are written... In FL, the "road" has the "right of way", not any car, meaning when you make a turn, you go across a lane, you breech "right of way" as the actual direction of traffic is irrelevent...
It can be viewed by some as stupid, however, the intent is to protect pedestrians, bicyclists, etc...
The same for a one way road. If traffic is running from North to South, and you look North, road clear and pull out only to have an accident with a car driving South to North, the wrong way, you are the cause of the accident as you breeched right of way...
Just something to think about...

Tyler, glad that you are ok!

You could probably change the title to "I love jerk drivers", since him being a "rent-a-cop" doesn't seem to have much to do with it outside of being a referential adjective.

From the looks of it, it doesn't appear that he was T-boned. It appears that the car that hit him was behind him when he was making the turn, then the driver decided to make that same left turn by trying to cut him off and hit his drivers side.
